The Groenheide Family August 2007 Mark & Sara Jessi - 12 years old Becky - 9.5 years old

We welcome you to our web-site. We are a Christian family who has experienced God's awesome love and grace in our lives. Mark and Sara have been married since 1990.  In May 1995, God blessed their family with a daughter - Jessi.  In January 1998, God blessed their family with a second child - Becky.  We believe each child is a precious gift from God, He made it more obvious to us through Becky's birth.  Becky joined our family three months before she was due.  In those first few weeks, God sustained Becky's fragile life and demonstrated His love and grace for each of us. God has a purpose and plan for everything that happens. Because of Becky's early beginnings, our family has grown closer to our Lord.  May He use our lives to reach out to others who find themselves in a similar situation.

Shortly after Becky was born, Sara wrote down the many thoughts and emotions she felt while her daughter was clinging to life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
