The Peace of God

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guide your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7  NIV

Mark and Sara Groenheide assumed the pregnancy and birth of their second child would be normal, but God had other plans for them.  Sara's water broke when she was only 4 1/2 months pregnant (22 weeks gestation), and she was hospitalized until Becky was born six weeks later.  Becky was three months premature and weighed a mere 2 lb. 8 oz.!      This is Sara's journal of the grace God gave her and her family throughout their ordeal.  She writes about how hard it was being apart from Mark and Jessi, their two year old daughter, the fear she felt not knowing if Becky would survive, and the day to day emotions of dealing with a high-risk pregnancy and having a child born premature. Most of all, Sara writes about her faith in God and how He helped her through each day.
