Growing Every Day
3 weeks old - 31 weeks gestation
2 lb. 7 1/2 oz. (1115 grams)
Mark helps get Becky on the scale.  Once she was stable enough, her weight was checked every night.  This picture shows how incredibly small she still was.
Becky's hand on Mommy's hand (Mommy's ring size is 4.5).  At seven weeks old, Becky's hand is still extremely small.
Becky got her first tub-bath when she was two months old.  Her head looked so small compared to Mark's hand.
DISCHARGED!!!  After spending 69 days in the NICU, Becky finally came home weighing
4 lb. 8 oz and required 0.2L of oxygen.

She had many diagnosis on discharge including:
   - extreme prematurity
   - chronic lung disease
   - bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)
   - reflux
   - grade 2 IVH (brain bleed)
   - PVL (damage to the white matter of the brain)

During her NICU stay, she spent 41 days on the ventilator (16 days on jet-vent), had 13 blood transfusions, 2 bouts with pneumonia and more xrays and lab work than I can count.
