Jessi & Becky 1999
At 3.5 years old, Jessi's idea of a pretty make-up job was quite different from Mommy's.
Jessi loves to bake things with Mommy. It was a real treat to use the mixer all by herself.
Becky sits in a laundry basket to play with her toys. She still wasn't able to sit by herself at 14 months old, and it was a nice change of pace to sit up to play with her toys.
Summer - 1999 Jessi - 4 years old Becky - 18 months Becky learned how to sit at 17 months old. Unfortunately, it was in the W-position. Jessi sits the same way.
Down on the Farm Jessi - 4 years old Becky - 19 months old
Becky was 18 months old before she could bring her toes to her mouth. Before that, her legs were too tight and stiff.
Becky began therapy at a feeding clinic at 20 months old. She had dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) and had been slowly losing weight. Part of the therapy was starting over with eating - Becky was put on ONLY foods that were pureed. That meant she couldn't eat crackers or chips - her favorites. She decided to empty the garbage and eat the cheese curls I had thrown away. ARGH!!
Becky was 21 months old when we decided it was time to start teaching her how to push a toy. She did one better - the first time, she walked all the way across the living room!!
Jessi "reads" a book to Becky.
Christmas 1999 Jessi - 4.5 years old Becky - almost 2 years old
