Jessi and Becky Year 2000

In March 2000, Becky began training with a walker.  Progress is slow, but she is improving a little each week.  She still prefers crawling to get her places.

Playing in the cupboard with Mommy's rubbermaid is a lot more fun than playing with toys.

Becky's hips were beginning to dislocate, so she had surgery in August 2000 to try and correct the problem.  She had her adductor tendons lengthened.  She had to wear a pillow between her legs for a few weeks to keep the tendons stretched while they healed.

July 2000 Jessi - 5 years, Becky - 2.5 years Jessi and Becky were in their Grandma's wedding at the beach.  Jessi was a flower girl and Becky was the ring bearer.

Jessi joined a soccer team through school.

Jessi began kindergarten in the fall.  It was very different having her gone every day.  Becky would get upset when the bus would take her "sissy" away.

Fall 2000 Jessi 5 1/2 years old Becky 2 1/2 years old

Nevember 2000 Becky moved out of her crib and into a toddler bed.  She still wasn't able to get herself in or out of bed, but she was very proud to be a "big girl".
