Jessi and Becky 2001

Becky's favorite race driver is    her Daddy, followed by Michael Waltrip.  She even has an imaginery friend named "Michael" who goes everywhere with her.

March 2001 - 5 1/2 years old Jessi lost her first tooth!  She sure looks more grown up now.

Becky takes her baby for a ride in the same stroller she used to fit in!

Jessi got to drive a go-cart all by herself.  She kept pretending she was Bobby Labonte (her favorite NASCAR driver).

Jessi began taking piano lessons just before her sixth birthday.  Less than two months later, she was in her first recital!!

May 2001 Jessi and Becky pose by the tulips in their Dutch costumes (complete with wooden shoes) during the annual Tulip Time Festival in Holland, Michigan.

Both girls enjoyed watching Daddy do fireworks in the backyard for the 4th of July.

A day at the beach.  We discovered that Becky could stand and play in the sand if we dug a hole, stood her up in it and buried her legs!  She had lots of fun!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 the girls dressed up in red, white & blue for some photos outside.  We also decorated Becky's walker with red, white & blue star stickers in honor of those who died.
