Jessi and Becky
Year 2002
Jessi and her friend, Kate, played a piano duet for the school talent show.  They played  "Mexican Hand Clapping Song" and were the only first-graders to perform!
Jessi and Becky each hold a "baby" that was custom made to their specifications at birth (weight, length, etc).

Jessi holds "Jessi"
7 lb. 7 oz. - 20 inches
Becky holds "Becky"
2 lb. 8 oz. - 14 inches
Somehow, Becky broke her left foot in June.  She had no known injury and complained of pain in her foot but was walking on it.  After a week, Mommy took her to the doctor and was VERY surprised!!
Becky's First Bike
Becky got her first adapted bike a few weeks before we went camping.  The bike has special foot plates that velcro her foot in place.  It only took her a few tries before she was outrunning her Mom and sister.
Becky got her first wheelchair in August.  It's hot pink, and the front wheels light up whenever she moves!!
Let's Dance!!

Jessi and Becky both began ballet in the fall.  Jessi has continued with her lessons, but it was a bit hard for Becky, so she stopped taking lessons after two months.
Trick-or-Treat

Jessi and Becky both dressed up in poodle skirts for Halloween.  It was too cold and windy to go trick-or-treating outside, so we drove around to all the grandparents' houses.
Whoever said rollerskating would be impossible has never met Becky.  For the second year, she went rollerskating at a family Christmas party.  We raised the wheels on her walker, put on her skates and sent her on her way.  She had a blast!!  She giggled and squealed as she chased after people.  She sure has a lot of spunk!!!!!
